To check the pulse of what teens are feeling about our cool Bright Spot for Reading section, myclubmylife.com took a little road trip! And to say that we were impressed is like saying Justin Bieber is just another teen singer.

We were blown away!

From seeing the faces as some of you talked about what a difference the Bright Spot for Reading initiative has made in your life to just seeing teens come straight to the Club after school and curl up with their favorite books, we know the connection is being made out there.

We were in Chicago, we were in Indianapolis and we were in places in between. We heard poems inspired by reading, we heard teens like you who went back and read books that were later made into movies -- like Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp -- that made you fall in love with both the movie and book!

We also taped video testimonials about how the reading focus has improved academics and more!

In essence, we heard you talking about the Bright Spot! And it "Bright"-ened our day!
