Full Scholarship Opportunity for Any Club Youth of the Year
Serious free money for college? It's yet another reason to shoot for Youth of the Year -- and to grow and learn at the place where D-Wade became a star!
Marquette University in Milwaukee is offering up to three full-tuition scholarships each year to local, state or national winners of the Youth of the Year program. Each scholarship is worth more than $110,000! The first scholarships will be awarded for the Fall 2010 semester.
Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade, a Marquette grad, helped make the new program a reality. "I know what a difference education -- and especially Marquette -- made in my life. Boys & Girls Clubs help youths find and develop their own special talents. Marquette is a place that I know will help them develop even further, so they can be leaders in their communities and make a difference in our world."
A D-Wade testimonial and talk of free scholarship money not enough to convince you yet? Check out the video as teen reporters Denise and Marina talk about the scholarship program at the school. Also, go here and see D-Wade talking about the new scholarship!
