What's New with The Black Eyed Peas

One of the most popular bands of the decade has lots going on with a new album, super-hot new single, appearances on Oprah and more!

B.E.P.s E.N.D.? N.O. While “The E.N.D.” is their new album’s title, it’s an acronym for “The energy never dies,” not an allusion to the band’s demise.

Dipdive.com: It will be interesting to watch Dipdive.com’s progress, brainchild of frontman will.i.am. It’s no mere vanity project, as the social-networking site employs 25 programmers and burns through $150,000 a month developing it.

Scholarships: With Oprah Winfrey’s assistance, Will established the “i am scholarship” program. It covers tuition, books and fees for four years of college. Its first four recipients were named in May 2009.

Milestone: With their latest single “Boom Boom Pow” entering Billboard’s Mainstream Top 40 chart, it marked their twelfth entry this decade, the most of any band in the aughts.

Other Peas ... Really? Wait, there’s others in BEP besides Will and Fergie? Dang, who knew? Taboo and apl.de.ap round it out.

Listen to "Meet Me Halfway" off BEP's "The E.N.D." now
