It’s a big world out there and you have a whole lot more to learn than whistling and riding a bike. (OK, we’re just kidding about those two!) We know you can do it!

Buckle up – winter’s not over yet! Puxatawn, er, Pucksa, er, whatever that groundshog's name is -- he saw his shadow! Six more weeks of the cold stuff, supposedly! Don't put up the heavy coat just yet!

Aight, we touted former Club kid Kevin Durant here in this spot months ago as being on the verge of superstardom in the NBA. The Oklahoma City Thunder forward made his first All-Star game this week and the sky is the limit for Durant, who repped his former D.C. area Boys & Girls Club in his first national commercial. KD is K-nice!

OK, we got lucky in this same spot last week and predicted the Saints and Colts would go to the Super Bowl. We’ve got lots of love for New Orleans and it felt great to see the city have a reason to celebrate. But we think the Colts will win the big game and celebrate their second title in four years! Not an endorsement – the Chill Spot has no favorites, before you Saints fans get in a Cajun rage – but we call ‘em as we see ‘em around these parts!

The Winter Olympics are right around the corner (literally). Those of you who live in the Great Northwest probably know by now that they will be skiing, skating, jumping and more for the next couple of weeks in Vancouver, B.C. just across the border from Washington. It’s sure to be fun – and cold!
